Could not have had a better day. Rosie and Landry were awesome. Literally from the time we got on the boat our whole group felt like we had known them forever. All 4 of us could not say enough about our boat day. Thanks so much for the adventure.

We had a great experience onboard Salty Viking with Captain Chris and first mate Rosie. The boat was setup perfect for our mix of kids, adults and grandparents. We left from St John in the morning and were at the North Sound by 10am with a stop or two on the way. It was not a particular calm day, but Salty Viking made it feel smooth. Had a great lunch at Saba Rock and explored hidden cannons nearby. Finished the day with several stops including White Bay. And for the record, the painkiller mix that Rosie handmade was way better than Soggy's! Captain Chris was a delight to chat with all day, and a wealth of knowledge. Highly recommend.

What an amazing day spent with Captain Chris and Rosie on the Salty Viking. This was our first trip on The Salty Viking, but it will not be our last! Captain Chris and Rosie could not have been more hospitable and enjoyable! We travel up to The Baths at Virgin Gorda, stopped for lunch on Marina Key , then headed to JVD for our stop at Soggy Dollar. Rosie was great with our 4 grand kids and treated them like her own. It was a most enjoyable and relaxing day and we loved every minute! I highly recommended a boat outing on The Salty Viking!!

If you're in St. John and want the perfect BVI day trip, book with Salty Vicking Charters. Captain Bruce was outstanding — professional, friendly, and made the entire experience effortless and fun from start to finish. The snorkeling at The Indians was absolutely world class with crystal clear water and incredible sea life. We stopped for lunch at Pirate's Bight which was a perfect island lunch spot with great food and atmosphere. Then capped off the day at the legendary Soggy Dollar on Jost Van Dyke feeling like we were living in a Kenny Chesney song. Could not recommend this charter experience more highly. Great boat, great service, and an unforgettable day on the water.

The only way our adventure on the Salty Viking could have been better was if it lasted another day! Our time on the boat with Captain Bruce and First Mer-Mate Rosie was fantastic in every way! The boat was beautiful, the breakfast, charcuterie board and beverages were delicious and the snorkeling was breathtaking

This was the best private charter on St John I've taken! We had 5 adults and booked the whole day to go snorkeling, cruise the entire island of St John, learn about the islands and sight see. Bruce and Rosie were amazing! They were flexible, knowledgeable, took us on some great little spots for turtles, snorkeling, fish and sting rays. Had a great time! I highly recommend them!

We booked a full day and it did.We have 2 young girls which are very shy, and Rosie was absolutely wonderful with them, really going the extra mile to make sure they had the best time. The boat was well equipped with plenty of shade and such a low draft that we were able to pull up really close to the beach, which was great for the girls. Rosie's charcuterie board was also a big hit with our daughter! This was the absolute best day

Our day on the Salty Viking was absolutely our best day on St. John. There were no worries about parking as we cruised up to any beach we wanted to snorkel at. We enjoyed our drinks and snacks in abundant shade and comfort and visited both the pizza boat (try the peachy goat) and the taco boat (two for one drinks at Happy Hour!) With plenty of comfortable seating in both sun and shade, the little ones could nap while the big ones swam. Clean and convenient bathroom on the boat so no need to jump in (unless you want to!) Family friendly and fun for everyone!

Awesome day with Salty Viking. Bruce and Rose took good care of us and hit all the spots we wanted. The boat itself is well kept and has a great layout for day charters. We were in town for the day from a cruise ship. They picked us up and dropped off at a nearby marina making the whole experience effortless. Highly recommend.

What a gorgeous, spacious boat! We were a multi-generational family (10 guests) visiting for the day from a cruise ship in St. Thomas. The Salty Viking team came all the way there to pick us up right next to the cruise ship’s dock. While it was a very wavy day between St. John and St. Thomas, the captain handled the big waves beautifully and it was super comfortable. Once in the calm bays of St. John, the first mate made us some delicious Painkillers and a delightful charcuterie plate. The captain allowed me to play my favorite music via the Bluetooth. We snorkeled in multiple coves and got a wonderful tour of the coastline. It was the best day of our weeklong vacation. The boat has such great wide areas to lounge so we could all be together. 10/10! Thank you, Salty Viking Team!

Amazing sunset tour on Salty Viking! Our group loved cruising slowly through the cays while enjoying charcuterie and drinks, then anchoring for the sunset — a truly perfect happy hour before dinner in town. The boat was super spacious, and the captain and crew were great. One of the highlights of our trip, highly recommend!
